Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to arrive in Kashi on November 7 for a two-day visit to his parliamentary constituency.

On Saturday, Ravindra Jaiswal, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Stamps and Court Registration Fees, announced that he will flag off the Vande Bharat Express from Varanasi station.

The much-awaited Vande Bharat Express between Varanasi and Khajuraho will boost tourism and trade.

The Lucknow-Saharanpur Vande Bharat Express and Firozpur-Delhi Vande Bharat Express trains will also be inaugurated on the same day. In the evening, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off these trains from Varanasi station.

It is reported that he will meet officials and public representatives regarding ongoing development projects in Kashi at the Bareka Guest House and spend the night there. He will leave for the Bihar election campaigning the next morning.
